Not really a flexible place and i bet they don't know how long it takes to update a system for gaming. This place isn't that friendly. I want to check out a book it's good.
The staff members are knowledgeable and eager to assist patrons both with physical book needs as well as using computer programs and the internet. Besides the large collection on hand you can request books to borrow from connected libraries as well as borrow a large selection of eBooks to read on your Kindle or other devices.
Some places merely are what they are, and some places truly excel at what they are. This library easily falls into the latter category. It has so much to offer, I'd choose the C(rete)PL over C(hicago)PL any day of the week. Free and fast wifi, plenty of outlets, friendly staff, plenty of parking, a new/modern building (with a robust air conditioning system), and of course, many and varied volumes for those who like absorb the written word the old-fashioned way. I've been a patron of the Crete Library for decades, and I can also attest to the quality (and fun factor) of their children's reading program. Your humble author would like to formally and publicly thank the fine librarians, past and present, of fostering my love of readin' and writin' without which this post would be much more muddled.
Very helpful very clean and very nice people every time I go there and if I need help with anything all I have to do is ask and no matter what they are doing they stop and help me just amazing people I love cretes library
Good environment and helpful service. Nice asortment of material to check out for a small town! Would recommend a visit.
